When you play Restock Master, you won't hear loud background music or distracting announcements. After closing time, you have the entire supermarket to yourself, and that quiet has its own relaxing audio character.

Throughout development, foley and sound design received as much attention as visual modeling. When restocking an empty store, the sound of an object in your hands is what makes it feel real.

Cooler Hums: Natural White Noise

Walking down the aisles in the stillness of the night, the most prominent sound is the low, steady hum coming from refrigerated beverage displays.

This isn't a generic loop. It was built to serve as calming ambient white noise that reinforces the feeling of being alone inside a massive, quiet building. As you step toward the drink section, the hum rises softly; as you walk toward dry goods, it blends back into the broader store ambience.

Glass, Cardboard, and Metal: Shelf Contact Audio

A supermarket carries thousands of distinct items, and every material behaves differently:

• Glass Jars and Bottles: The solid, resonant thud when placing a heavy preserve jar onto a metal shelf grid.
• Cardboard Boxes: The gentle friction of cereal and tea boxes sliding into neat alignment.
• Snack Wrappers: The subtle crinkle of chip bags and cookie packets as you inspect and pack them together.
• Household Cleaning: The heavy, dull thud of large detergent jugs placed on bottom shelves.

Feedback Without Clutter

Many simulators flash giant floating text or play loud arcade chimes whenever you do something right. We chose not to do that in Restock Master. The most rewarding confirmation that an item is properly placed is simply hearing it click firmly into position.
